Many years appeared in national newspaper articles, radio, television talk shows as a representative and advocate of women motorcyclists.1988,awarded Honorary Lifetime membership to Women in The Wind. 24 year AMA member, Lifetime HOG member, Motor Maid,member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America.1990 honored as a pioneering woman motorcyclist in the AMA's Women In Motorcycling exhibit.
20 year freelance motorcycle journalist.1994, wrote award winning children’s motorcycle book Patrick Wants to Ride, honored with the AMA’s Brighter Image MVP Award.
1995 featured original documentary on women motorcyclists called Biker Women.
2003,inducted into the National Motorcycle Hall of Fame, AMA Hall of Fame.2008 inducted into Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
Wrote ‘The American Motorcycle Girls 1900-1950” Current projects: documentary about her book and riding the 2010 Cannon Ball Motorcycle Run.
